Awesome!

C2_Awesome!

This picture reflects the sheer magnitude and awesome character of God. Splashes of colour reflect His creativity and incomprehensible knowledge revealed throughout creation. Featured is a yellow triangle representing God in three forms- the Heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth…Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.” (Genesis 1:1-3, NLT)

Invisible Made Visable

White dotted lines in the picture symbolise the invisible work of God happening behind the scenes. The multi-coloured stripe represents Jesus- God in a tangible form

“Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation. (Colossians 1:15, NLT)

Holding Together

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Viewed under ultraviolet light, aqua circles resemble atoms and particles- the basic building blocks of life.  This is an analogy of God being everywhere, evident in all creation and holding everything together by His power.  The red/orange represents the sin-filled fallen world that ‘masks’ the evidence of God in creation. However, portions are still evident, as nothing can completely hide God’s glory. Viewed in the dark (glow in the dark) the faint, the partially obscured aqua (evidence of God) is now visible. This is like ‘seeing’ indirect evidence of God in circumstances and in creation.

“For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” (Colossians 1:16-17, NIV)

God’s Image

SS1_God's image

The series begins with ‘God’s Image which illustrates how God originally created human beings- in the likeness of Himself (Genesis 1:27). The white background shows the flawlessness and purity of creation before sin. The pink represents perfect love and unity between Adam and Eve, and between the couple and God. Both pink and white represent God, as God is love (1 John 4:8).
