Right Vs Two Wrongs

H5_Right vs Two Wrongs

This painting is based on the old phrase “Two wrongs don’t make a right”.As visually shown, the one right (tick) outweighs the two wrongs (crosses). This also draws on the idea that revenge is not an effective solution for creating peace as revenge only fuels more anger and revenge.
Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. (Romans 12:17-18)

Peace Amidst the Storm

FS2_Peace amidst the storm

This painting shows a raging hurricane representing the stormy events and worries of life. The heart is standing in the eye of the storm (which is peaceful) represents a peaceful place despite chaos and havoc all around. This can be compared to the peace experienced by the one who looks to God in times of heartache and turmoil. It is a supernatural peace, a “…peace that surpasses all understanding…” (Philippians 4:7, English Standard Version)
